ABOUT US

Architect and Engineers Group is one of the important non – governmental organization of our country most of which consists of academics, entrepreneurs, industrial producers and breaucrats, architect and engineer members and together with thousands of volunteers, has been manifesting its activities since 1993.

OUR MISSION

We aim at presenting the scientific and technological activities which could be carried out in the Architecture and Engineering fields for the furtherance of the society welfare by means of establishing the social, cultural, economic and professional collaboration among our group members who own Engineering and Architecture formation.

We aim at being an esteemed non – governmental organization which enables its architects and engineers to take part actively in the country’s development, meeting its members` needs and expectations.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Our group carries out following activities to achieve its goals:

• To arrange inland and abroad technical trips and education courses to improve professional knowledge and skills of its members
• To form functional commissions in accordance with the branches of the members in order to provide the active participation of the members
• To organize trip and relaxation programs for the members get acquainted with each others, to establish cooperatives, organizations aiming at meeting the housing, vacation, relaxation needs or similar aims and to participate in the cooperatives which have already been established or to make contributions for the establishment of the cooperations.
• To do activities or to make attempts by competent authorities and public opinion for the development and protection of the legal remedies of our members and colleagues
• To conduct activities among our members and colleagues for the development of product and service standards aiming at increasing life conditions and to make public opinion conscious. For this purpose, to pioneer for the production of service and products which are respectful for the environment and human. To determine standards for the purpose of making contributions to increase the quality and to help the establishments and corporations which are responsible for developing legislation.
• We have to do our own research - development and create our own technology so that our products and services can compete on the international stage. To give adequate importance for the employment of Turkish architect and engineers in the production and service sector to be able to attain this goal, to carry out activities, to encourage and make private sector and public administrators conscious of this issue and to encourage them
• To arrange meetings, courses, seminars, conferences, panels, symposiums, congresses etc. and to carry out consultation meetings about professional and technical problems
• For the purpose of announcing and making widespread the aims and activities in the professional and scientific field, to publish and distribute by means of internet, television, newspaper, magazine, books, brochures and similar written, audible, visual publications. Upon the permit of legal legislation to establish these publication organs.
• To build research center, institute, library and dormitory
• To organize incentive competitions in professional and scientific field
• To follow professional and scientific publications
• To develop university and industry collaboration
• To provide scholarship for university, master and doctorate students, to prepare education opportunities inside and outside Turkey, to open dormitory and similar institutions for housing needs
• To support professional research and thesis works in the universities, to do researches about architecture and engineering education in the universities, to prepare reports and to communicate with public opinion and authorities
• To carry out international activities and collaboration by the decision of administrative board in the framework of the authorization given by the board to achieve the goals of the association, to participate in the associations or institutions which are founded inland or abroad and related to professional and scientific activities as member or charter member or to carry out collective works
• To collaborate directly or by means of the establishments which will have connections depending on itself, to be active in trade associations with inland and foreign private and official establishments, chambers of commerce and industry, stock markets, profession constitutions, foundations, associations, federations which have already been founded or will be founded.
• Regarding the activities which are appropriate for the association goals; to rent or buy real estate, to give or acquire all kinds of rights on the real estate pro or against the association such as the easement right, usufruct right, fructus civiles, right of pre – emption and mortgage, to cancel, to release (from a pledge) or to sell. Administrative Board has to decide about buying real property, renting or selling real property.
• We can participate as incorporator in charitable foundations and enterprises which will have operations in the field of economic and scientific researches. To establish all kinds of partnerships, economic enterprises, companies, club houses and various institutions for the revenue – generating projects whether related or unrelated to the goal and service issues; to participate in the institutions which have already been established or will be established, to run these institutions or to give these institutions some other people to run them.
• Association can collaborate with the foreign institutions such as United Nations. European Union, World Bank in accordance with achievement of the goals on condition that legal authority is gained. It can acquire all kinds of fund, donation, aid from such institutions in order to use in accordance with its goals. It can not only collaborate with foreign establishments but also Turkish public and private institutions in accordance with this purpose and can do conjunct attempts.
• To make contributions to the standards, regulations, plans, programs etc. which will be prepared orientated to increase the life conditions of the society, to collaborate with the relevant institutions
• To make necessary attempts and to establish relations by determining the precautions which will provide the prosperity for our members and colleagues.
